DEFINITION
Concrete Polishing according to the Concrete Polishing Assoc.
“The processing of the concrete surface through means of a mechanical process that uses an abrasive medium where each step is refined to its purest possible form on a microscopic level from one progressively finer abrasive to the next until the desired level of “polish” is achieved. Polished concrete has clarity of reflection like a mirror and glass like finish. The clarity will depend on the final diamond grit. Polishing steps are 800 grit and higher.”
So then a Polished Concrete floor is refined by grinding and best results come when during the grinding process hardener/densifiers are added to the concrete. These increase the durability of the concrete and improve the polishing.

Slip Resistance Testing
Mr. Clean partners with a testing service that verifies the slip resistance of your floors to verify that the “Coefficient of Friction” (COF) is at a sufficient level in wet and dry conditions. Testing your floors helps to reduce slip and fall issues before they happen by verifying that the slip resistance of your floors are at their very best.
