| We use this technique where there has been excessive wear in doorways, traffic lanes, under the baskets or in response to damaged areas on an otherwise nice condition floor. After the floor has been prepped we burnish the entire floor and then apply 1 coat of Center Court coating to the specified areas. Then a process of burnish curing and blending the coatings takes place. This process results in a glossy and almost new appearing surface. Prior to this, the industry standard was to apply a fresh coat of material across the entire floor. The appearance and performance between the two is close to being the same. The cost difference is that our Restoration Coat costs about 50% of a full single coat process. From start to finish, the process takes about 6 hours. The school can have full use of the gymnasium just 4 hours after completing the Restoration Coat. |
